The design is for the novel "telephone" by Percival Everett. it consists of a cover, which contains a texture of a blend of a fossil structure to the map of Mexico, which is the storyline of the novel. it also has a dust cover which is a screen-printed version of the same. the title uses gold ink, while the texture uses white. it is also run thermos to lift the ink and give it a bone-like structure. the geology notes inside are isolated to separate paged, which have scanned handwriting font to make it look authentic. it also has coffee stains laid out in a beautiful manner to give it depth and design. the dialogues inside have variations in font to help distinguish between the characters, where every character has been given a unique style.
